CISP methodological meeting recommends continuous training of staff

Africa-Press – Angola. The participants of the 5th methodological meeting of the Public Security Integration Center (CISP) recommended, this Friday, the continuous training of staff, to meet the challenges of this body of the Ministry of the Interior.

The recommendation is contained in the final communiqué of the event, which took place from the 17th to the 19th of this month, in the city of Huambo, under the guidance of the director general of the CISP, commissioner Adulcinio Lutucuta, which was attended by staff from the provinces of Benguela, Huambo, Huíla and Luanda.

The participants also advocated the need for the public security body and the Ministry of the Interior, along with training, to invest in the career progression of staff, as an essential imperative.

In relation to the functioning of the Public Security Integration system, they defended the need to remain operational and uninterrupted, in all provinces of the country, given its importance in public security.

However, they appealed to the population for a culture of reporting, via 111, with a view to combating any criminal or illicit act, in favor of the safety of communities.

Held over three days, the 5th methodological meeting of the Public Security Integration Center, among several others, aimed to analyze the internal and administrative life of the corporation, balance the activities of the 1st quarter of this year and outline strategies to improve the services provided to the bodies of the Ministry of the Interior.

The CISP national center was inaugurated on December 30, 2019, with the aim, among many others, of preventing public security, as well as cooperating with the media and justice bodies, in clarifying illegal acts.

The CISP project, in addition to systems for controlling urban areas, includes specific systems for border control, as well as all its aspects in terms of public security.

In the country, integrated Public Security centers in Luanda, Benguela, Huambo and Huíla are already operating.
