MPLA Political Bureau salutes workers
The Political Bureau of the MPLA highlighted, yesterday, in a press release, that the 1st of May has, for the party, a great historical significance and is a factor of incentive and mobilization of this social class, in the struggle for decent working conditions and guarantee to improve social life.
In the communiqué, the party states that the worker remains at the center of attention of the actions undertaken by the Executive, politically supported by the MPLA, always in the sense of being the preponderant factor for the strengthening of the national economy and a fundamental vector of its robustness.
With the spirit of “Working harder and Communicating better”, the MPLA, stresses the document, is available to support actions aimed at honoring the commitments assumed between professional organizations, the various social and trade union partners and employers, appealing -them to continue to maintain a frank, open, constructive and inclusive dialogue, aimed at strengthening the quality of services provided by the institutions, for the dignification of Angolan workers.
In the statement, the Political Bureau reaffirms that it will continue to pay special attention to private sector employers, so that they guarantee a significant universe of employment for citizens, thus contributing to the sustainability of families and the maintenance and sustainable growth of Angola.
In the 2022-2027 governance period, he added, the MPLA intends to see the various actions implemented that ensure the right to decent and quality employment, professional qualification, entrepreneurship especially for youth, the reduction of the unemployment rate, as well as the dynamization of active labor market policies, with a focus on promoting and stimulating self-employment.
“In this context, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the MPLA, on behalf of the militants, sympathizers and friends of the Party, congratulates all Angolan workers, urging them to continue to assume the role and mission that belongs to each one, with responsibility and spirit of sacrifice, for the effective construction of a new Angola, which is everyone’s pride”, says the statement.
