Africa-Press – Angola. The Capital Markets Commission (CMC) is holding, from today until Sunday, from the 3rd to the 9th, the sixth edition of the World Investor Week, whose opening event takes place at the School of Administration and Public Policies (ENAPP), in Luanda.

Several lectures and seminars mark the event that is celebrated all over the world, with the Capital Markets Commission (CMC) the full-fledged representative of the global entity for Angola.

The motto of the celebrations is the culture of savings in the populations, through financial education campaigns.

This year the theme is “Investor Resilience and Sustainable Finance”.

The International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) of which CMC is a member and representative in Angola intends with the events of these days to awaken the public, companies and governments about the importance of financial education and the protection of investors.

Last year, under the motto “Sustainable Finance and the Protection of Investors Against Fraud and Scams”, they were developed between the 4th and 9th of October.

World Investor Week is a global campaign to protect and educate investors, as well as financial education, promoted by the International Organization of Securities and Exchange Commissions (IOSCO). The initiative appears as a contribution to offer educational opportunities to the population of more than 80 member countries of the organization.
