Africa-Press – Angola. The coach of the Provincial Women’s Football Team of Luanda, Lurdes Lutonda “China”, this Tuesday reduces the group from 34 to 25 athletes, aiming at the dispute of the national tournament, from 18 to 29 July, in the city of Lubango. , province of Huila.
Before the reduction of the group, the players will work on the game processes, in a part of the Nicola Berardinelli field, to improve the finishing during the combined attacks of attack.
The Provincial Team, which started preparation on the 14th of this month, at the Nicola Berardinelli field, will enter tomorrow at 2:00 pm, in the same venue, in the second week of training.
The first week of work was marked by many absences of athletes, due to school exams that most footballers have to carry out during this period.
For the competition stage, China Lutonda will take only 20 athletes, a number imposed by the tournament organization (Angolan Football Federation (FAF).
In addition to the teams from Luanda and Lubango, the participation of the provinces of Benguela, Bié, Cunene, Cuanza-Norte, Huambo, Lunda-Norte, Malanje, Moxico and Uíge is also expected.
The coaching staff of the Luanda national team is led by coach China, with assistants Veró Miguel, Dionísia Inácio (goalkeeper technician), Carlos Serrano (physical trainer) and Eduarda Ventura (physiotherapist).

Meeting
The Angolan Football Federation (FAF) meets, tomorrow, at 2 pm, via Zoom, with representatives of the 18 Provincial Football Associations (APF), invited to participate in the national women’s football tournament, in Lubango.
During the meeting, members of the governing body of football will talk about the organizational aspects of the competition.
The draw and the technical meeting will take place on the 7th of July, at the FAF headquarters.
The information was disclosed yesterday, by FAF’s board member, Sónia Marisa, who announced the Tundavala, Ferroviário and Benfica do Lubango stadiums as the venues for the matches of the national tournament.
