Africa-Press – Angola. The company “SFT Angola” is committed to adopting the measures that are being implemented by the Government for the future of the Fisheries sector, and which aim to guarantee the sustainability of the Angolan economy.
As one of the largest suppliers of frozen fish in the country, the company contributes more than 60 thousand tons of fish to the market, where it offers the most diverse species.
The company’s executive director, António Gama, assured that improving the quality of technicians has been one of the main priorities.
As for species, the fish include mackerel, sardinella aurita and arabic, horse mackerel, sardines, cachucho, dorado, hake, sword, rooster and lychee, which implies being at a good level. After capture, the product is distributed to commercial surfaces and other agents.
One of SFT Angola’s ideas is to invest in the national workforce, where it has 50 workers, half of which are Angolan professionals. The process will continue until reaching the objective of working with only 20 percent expatriate labor.
