The deputies of the 4th Commission of the National Assembly (AN) for State Administration and Local Power defended Monday, in the municipality of Negage (Uíge), the completion of the works of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), to respond to the needs of local citizens.

With a degree of physical execution above 50 percent, the construction of two schools with seven and 12 classrooms, a municipal building and police station with integrated services from the Ministry of the Interior and the rehabilitation and asphalting stand out among the ongoing works. 10 kilometers of road.

Speaking to the press, after visiting some social works in the municipality of Negage, deputy Mardanes Kalunga gave a positive note to the progress of the works in that locality, despite recommending the completion, soon, of the works underway in the locality.

And, in turn, deputy Nazário Vilhena Pedro Bomba said that the works are progressing at a good pace, despite highlighting the delays in payment for the works.

The municipal administrator of Negage, Delfina António Henriques, said that the works will be completed soon, requiring some financial arrangements to be made.

During their stay in the municipality of Negage, the deputies, who have been in the province of Uíge since last Friday, also visited some projects of the Local Support Program for Family Agriculture (PLAAF).
