Africa-Press – Angola. A literary work entitled “Correspondências e Versos de Amor”, the second authored by writer Kibuku Kiajinje, will be launched on 10 February, in the city of Malanje, by Editora Musseleji.

Of the poetry genre, the book comprises 70 pages and is written in the form of letters, in which the author exalts love for others and brings to reflection the need to rescue unity between people and safeguard the Angolan identity.

In this work, Kibuku Kiajinje also pays homage to Angolan women, for the bravery and struggle they undertake daily in favor of building homes, with emphasis on the zungueiras and iconic African heroines such as Njinga a Mbande, Kimpa Vita, Nhakatolo and others, who are inspiration of many generations.

In an interview, the author pointed out that the manual “invites to travel on the wings of written and felt love, of a thousand longings and longings”, imposing on the reader an analysis of the continuous struggle for strong leaderships and that stimulate love between the people, as one of the basic factors for achieving development.

The book, which was prefaced by writer Gino Sacramento, has an initial print run of 1,000 copies and will be sold at 4,000 kwanzas.

Kibuku Kianjinje is the literary pseudonym of António Agostinho José Sebastião, born in Malanje, with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Escola Superior Politécnica de Malanje and a master’s degree in Management of Cultural Projects from the Universidade Europaea del Atlântico.

In addition to dedicating himself to literature, Kibuku Kiajinje is also a civic activist and cultural researcher, professor, coordinator of the Pro-Artes e Ritmo project, as well as a member of the provincial secretariat of the Brigada Jovem de Literatura de Angola and the National Union of Artists and Composers. -Society of Authors.

He is also a member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters and founder of Livraria e Editora Musseleji.

His first work “Interior da Luz” was published in 2018 and has participated in several collections published in Angola, Brazil and Portugal.
