Africa-Press – Angola. The average cost of basic food products fell to 33,825 kwanzas, with prices for soy oil, palm oil and rice falling by 5.46 percent, 4.84 and 3.91 percent, respectively.
While the products that registered the biggest price changes were frozen beef with 7.39 percent, fish with 4.68 and powdered milk with 2.00 percent.
The price variation of basic basket products from the second to the third week of February registered a deceleration of 0.04 percent. The products that contributed to this price reduction were soy oil, palm oil and blue soap, with a variation of 4.02 percent; 3.53 and 3.50, respectively. As learned by Jornal de Angola, the greatest variations were recorded in products such as frozen beef, frozen fish and chicken thighs.
