Africa-Press – Angola. Sessions of trial hearings at the Provincial Court of Moxico are proceeding normally, despite the strike in force declared four days ago by the justice officials, who claim improvement in social conditions.
Yesterday the full operation of the different sections, as well as the judicial secretariat, which registered a massive participation of officials including bailiffs, was well known.
The presiding judge of the Provincial Court, Rivaltino Van-Dúnem, justified the normal functioning due to the low adherence to the strike by the employees, around 15 percent.
“The Court controls 72 officials, and on the first day of the strike 14 joined and today (Tuesday) the number has reduced to approximately 10”, said the judicial magistrate, ensuring that the trial sessions take place normally.
The court officials declared a strike for alleged non-compliance with several points in the list of demands, among others, changes in categories and the improvement of working conditions, sent to the Superior Council of the Judiciary.
