Africa-Press – Angola. The writer Cremilda de Lima offered, over the weekend, in Luanda, 150 copies of the book entitled “Alma de kaluanda” to the Kutanga ya Henda Association.
On the sidelines of the book donation ceremony, the association held, in partnership with the writer Cremilda de Lima, a sale and autograph session of the poetry book “Alma de Kaluanda”, an event that had the special participation of Mamã África (Aminata Goubel ) and the writer Lopito Feijóo.
The autograph selling and signing session registered a large turnout of the public to the place and the poetry of the book “Alma de Kalunda” filled the space in all its fullness. Poets, declaimers, children, young people and adults internalized and read the poems with the heart of the love for the land of the kaluandas, which belongs to all.
The amount collected from the sale of the book will revert, in full, to the survival of “Kutanga ya Henda”, an association whose object is to carry out actions to promote books and encourage public and private reading of works of general interest, and inclusion through literature.It intends to instruct for citizenship and development.
It is a non-profit organization, formally constituted in January 2020, which intends to participate in local development, valuing the community, namely in the area attached to the place where it is located, municipality of Belas, sector of Talatona, Luanda.
It is the association’s mission to promote access to knowledge, strengthen reading habits, cultural enjoyment, preservation and dissemination of oral tradition. The association intends to contribute to the construction of a youth (regardless of age) that is continually well-formed and participatory in social well-being in all aspects.
