Africa-Press – Angola. Six billion, 791 million, 357 thousand, 115 kwanzas and 29 cents were collected during the first quarter of the current year, by the Provincial Finance Delegation in Cunene, minus 341 million, 831 thousand 317 kwanzas, compared to the same period last year from 2022.
Revenues were reduced by around 4.7 percent, and in the first quarter of 2022 the institution raised a global amount of seven billion, 133 million, 188 thousand, 432 kwanzas and 59 cents.
The information is contained in the balance sheet report of the Finance delegation, distributed this Friday, in which it indicates that of the revenue collected, as a result of the payment of customs fees, taxes on income from work, profits from economic activities, assets, consumption , stamp and other services.
Customs revenues from goods moved through border posts with the Republic of Namibia allowed for the allocation of five billion, 208 million, 403 thousand,924 kwanzas and the remaining one thousand million, 582 thousand 953 million, 191 kwanzas and 29 cents in taxes , fees and miscellaneous fees.
He highlighted the importance of paying taxes as a lever for State revenue, thus highlighting the need for taxpayers to comply with their tax obligations.
