Africa-Press – Angola. The Democratic Bloc inaugurated, this Saturday, in the Mbemba Ngango neighborhood, in the main municipality of the province of Uíge, the new municipal headquarters with a focus on preparing for local authorities.
The new headquarters of the Democratic Bloc has a meeting room, offices, among other spaces.
The inauguration of the municipal headquarters was preceded by a march, which started at Mercado do Dunga and ended at the new headquarters, under the motto “For a strong bloc for the challenges of the president and the future towards local authorities in 2024”.
In his speech, the head of the party in the province, Salvador dos Santos, highlighted that the construction of the new municipal headquarters will dignify and encourage the mobilization of more militants, as well as publicize the existence of the party in Uíge.
For Salvador dos Santos, the implementation of local authorities in the country will resolve several situations, justifying that it will have direct involvement from the municipality itself.
He explained that it is still a challenge for political formation to expand the party in other municipalities. The Democratic Bloc has facilities in the municipalities of Negage, Songo, Kimbele, Milunga and Sanza-pombo.
Salvador dos Santos reaffirmed that his party will continue to work with the population, to carry out local elections in the country.
