Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of the Political Bureau of the MPLA for the Reform of the State, Public Administration and Municipalities, Mário Pinto de Andrade, praised Monday, in this city, the basic social projects developed by the local government, which aim to satisfy the life of the population.
The parliamentarian made this statement at the end of a visit to three schools built under the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), the works at Pioneiro Zeca Park and the extension of the electricity network in this city and surroundings.
The deputy said that the undertakings visited were well designed and called for the conservation of public assets made available to citizens, as a result of the efforts undertaken by the provincial government.
Mário Pinto de Andrade, who heads a delegation of MPLA deputies visiting the province of Malanje, specified that the government still has many challenges ahead of it in terms of meeting the needs of citizens, which is why it is working to achieve them.
He stressed that the works now visited are part of the commitment assumed in 2022 by the party, at the time of the elections, whose implementation has been reflected in the improvement of the population’s quality of life.
The group of MPLA parliamentarians will work until Friday (2nd) in the province’s 14 municipalities, with the aim of evaluating ongoing and implemented social projects.
Afterwards, the delegation went separately yesterday to different parts of the province.
