Africa-Press – Angola. The deputies to the National Assembly (NA) belonging to the Moxico provincial circle called, this Tuesday, for the need to complete the structuring projects underway in the region.

Speaking to the Press, after a fact-finding visit carried out by the governor of Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, to the provincial support office for deputies of the National Assembly, the coordinator of the nucleus, Felino Job, said that there are several social works, which deserve greater supervision of parliamentarians for its conclusion.

Among the projects, he highlighted the need for the Executive to implement the construction of roads to benefit the local population, which have the circulation of trains from Caminho de Ferro de Benguela (CFB), as the only alternatives for their mobility.

Felino Job also pointed out the need to complete the primary schools 53 “Comandante Kwenha” and the Instituto Médio Politécnico do Alto Luena, whose works have been going on for over 12 years, as strategic infrastructures with a view to welcoming a considerable number of children who find themselves outside the education system.

For his part, the governor of the province of Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, highlighted the work carried out by the deputies, considering them an important body in resolving the State’s problems.

In the Moxico provincial circle, the MPLA obtained 115 thousand 114, which allowed it to elect four deputies, while UNITA, with 45 thousand, elected one deputy.

The province of Moxico, made up of the main municipalities (Moxico), Camanongue, Léua, Cameia, Luacano, Luau, Alto Zambeze, Bundas and Luchazes is inhabited by around one million inhabitants, according to the forecast of the National Statistics Institute ( INE).

The building of the provincial support office for deputies in Moxico was inaugurated in November 2014, in the Santa Rosa neighborhood, on the outskirts of Luena.
