The “precarious” state of access roads that connect the municipality of Quipungo to the communal headquarters and the fact that the communes are yet to be institutionalized are among the main problems observed in the locality and that generate concern for the deputies of the 4th Administration Commission of the State and Local Power.

“It is important that Quipungo deserves particular attention because both in terms of extension, population, and the ability to resolve problems, it deserves particular attention in what is the new Political-Administrative Division (DPA) that allows proximity and resolution of citizens’ problems”, he highlighted.
He highlighted “positive aspects”, such as the completion of PIIM works at 78 percent, including infrastructures such as schools, health centers, water collection, among others, to benefit thousands of inhabitants.
In turn, the administrator of Quipungo, José dos Santos Vital, highlighted the need to look at everything that makes the municipality’s agricultural potential happen, from improving the conditions of the existing cattle herd, taking advantage of rivers, recovering dams , among others.
He also detailed the need to look at irrigated agriculture, not just rainfed agriculture, the issue of horticultural seeds, motor pumps and other inputs to make agriculture and livestock farming happen, as this only exists when access roads symbiosis are created. , inputs, mechanization and arable land.
He asked the deputies that visits be carried out periodically, as this is the only way to show the reality of the municipality, which is falling short of what is desired to give dignity to its residents.
In the municipality, deputies visited a health center, a water system, included in the PIIM, the roads that connect the commune of Chicungo to the municipal headquarters, a school with 12 classrooms, water collection and distribution system, requalification of the football field and the record store.
