Africa-Press – Angola. The financial and administrative director of Desportivo da Huíla, Ezequias Domingos, guaranteed, in the city of Lubango, the club’s financial availability to support the costs of competitions for the 2022/23 season.
Ezequias Domingos revealed that financial readiness results from the availability of management and contributions from sponsors and partners committed to the club. For this reason, the director foresees a smooth campaign in Girabola, Angola Cup, as well as the Angola Super Cup game.
“We are well financially, so that the team participates without constraints in the competitions we proposed to compete. We have a budget”, he assured.
The manager did not reveal the values of the available budget, but said that despite the guarantee, considered necessary and sufficient, there is never total satisfaction.
“The financial issue is always present in our lives. Something is always missing. We are never satisfied. And, in football, no team has a full and satisfactory financial condition. So there is always a balance to be struck and the appropriate commitment”, he maintained.
The club’s financial stability is based on the fact that the management is committed to the constant search for partners, with a view to expanding sources of funding and support.
“If I have two sponsors, I have to fight to have three, four, five. Always look for more”, he justified. In this way, the management has worked to expand the sources of income and justify with results and accountability.
“Partners give what is possible. That’s why we have to fight, the search for material satisfaction of the commitments we made with the athletes. Keep fighting. It’s no use saying if the club has already received the first tranche, the second, third or value. What we have to do is continue to look for partnerships, support to support the team and the costs in the maximum competition of national football”, he concluded.
