Africa-Press – Angola. The Consulate General of Angola in Johannesburg has all the technical, logistical and security conditions created for tomorrow’s General Elections.

In a note, the consular mission reinforces that the preparation of the election, in that city, began in January of the current year with the updating of the Electoral Register, the definition of Focal Points with the National Electoral Commission, the recruitment and selection of Electoral Agents who received training in South Africa by trainers from the CNE and finally the reception of all the computer and voting material for the successful realization of the party of democracy.

Throughout this process, emphasis is given to the South African government authorities who, from the outset, collaborate with the consular mission and will provide the Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services for preventive coverage of the process on the day of the elections.

Angolans residing in Johannesburg, and with electoral capacity (over 18 years of age who have completed the Electoral Registration) in a total of 411 voters, will for the first time have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote to choose the President of the Republic, Vice-President. President of the Republic and Members of the National Assembly.
