Africa-Press – Angola. The candidate for President of the Republic by P-NJANGO, Eduardo Jonatão “Dinho” Chingunji, promised, Wednesday, in Cuito, a transparent management of the country’s wealth, so that it will benefit everyone.

Dinho Chingunji, who is in Bié province, as part of the campaign for the elections on the 24th of this month, said that he aspires to work to improve the management of revenues from oil, diamonds, wood and other riches that Angolan soil offers.

During a meeting with activists from the municipality of Cuito, the politician discussed the potential of Bié, especially in the production of diamonds and agriculture.

Still in Cuito, the head of P-NJANGO’s list, accompanied by militants and party sympathizers, led a march made up mostly of motorcycle taxi drivers that traveled through several streets of the city. Dinho Chingunji took advantage of his stay in Cuito to inaugurate his party’s headquarters in the province. P-NJANGO, debuting in elections, is already represented in seven other municipalities in the province, missing only Cuemba.

This year’s elections, which will have the participation of Angolans in the diaspora for the first time, are the fifth in Angola’s history, after those of 1992, 2008, 2012 and 2017. Bié province has 783,684 registered voters, who will exercise the right voting rights in 861 assemblies.

For the vote on the 24th of this month, 14 million and 399 voters are registered, of which 22,560 are abroad, who will choose between the parties MPLA, UNITA, PRS, FNLA, APN, P-NJANGO, PHA, APN and the CASA-CE coalition. .
