Dinis Lucama Praises Commitment to Inspection Activities in the Sector

Africa-Press – Angola. The Inspector General of National Defence, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Homeland, Dinis Segunda Lucama, praised, on Friday, in Luanda, the work carried out by inspectors in relation to inspection and control activities, whose dedication is fundamental for the effective functioning of the institutions in the sector.The general officer expressed this recognition during the closing of the Day Commemorating the Day of the Defence Inspector, celebrated yesterday, with activities linked to the event taking place from the 21st to the 25th of this month, at the Social Security Institute of the Angolan Armed Forces (ISSFAA).

Dinis Lucama said that the recognition extends to all those who, with responsibility and rigor, contribute to the continuous improvement of the bodies of the Ministry of National Defence, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Homeland (MINDENACVP) and the FAA.

“Inspectors are not only supervisors, they are also quality and compliance managers, guardians of transparency and promoters of a culture of excellence. Through their daily work, they ensure that the human, financial, technical and operational material resources of the bodies and other services of the Ministry and the FAA are always aligned with the highest standards of professionalism and ethics”, he stressed.The official also highlighted the importance of the role of inspectors in strengthening the trust placed in specialists by society. “May this Inspector’s Day inspire us to persevere in the search for excellence”, stressed Dinis Lucama.

On the occasion, the organizing committee of the activity presented a report with a set of conclusions from the event, which brought together inspectors from the ministerial department, the Armed Forces and the National Police.

The event, as described in the document, provided participants with additional skills in the field of knowledge, interpretation and applicability of the inspector’s mission.

According to the report, the inspector’s ethical and upright conduct is the guarantor of the control and supervision of the management of the resources made available to the Ministry of Defense and the FAA.
