Diplomat presents Letters of Credentials to the Crown Prince of Liechtenstein

Africa-Press – Angola. Diplomat Filomena Delgado presented, on Monday (4), to Crown Prince Alois of Liechtenstein, the Letters of Credentials that accredit her as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Angola in the Principality of Liechtenstein, with non-resident status.

Residing in Switzerland, Filomena Delgado, after presenting the Letters of Credentials, discussed topics of interest to both States with the Crown Prince of Liechtenstein.

The ceremony was preceded by a courtesy audience with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sports, Dominique Hasler.

The new Angolan ambassador to Liechtenstein has a degree in Sociology from Calabar University, in Nigeria, and has an advanced course on human rights and equal status of women from Lund University, in Sweden.

She also holds an advanced course on women, the art of negotiation and assistance to the development of Africa, from the Kenya School of Professional Studies, among others.

The diplomat has already held similar roles in South Africa and Lesotho. She was a deputy to the National Assembly, minister of Family and Promotion of Women and held other relevant government positions and in regional organizations.

Also in Vaduz, the diplomat received, in audience, members of the Angolan community residing in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Liechtenstein is a microstate located in the center of Europe, nestled in the Alps between Austria, to the East, and Switzerland to the West.

Just over 39,000 inhabitants live in its 160,477 km2, according to some estimates, and it has a strong financial center in its capital, Vaduz.
