At the closing ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, celebrated the historic success of the Summit as an important vote of confidence from the international community in the country and its government.

He considered that the event reached a level of global prestige that consolidates its status as a platform of excellence for international cooperation.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the current ruler of Dubai, highlighted that the Summit’s success is due to the combined efforts of his country’s national team, as well as the trust placed in the UAE by international partners.

According to him, the 2026 edition was the best-organized event of all those held so far, with the presence of more than 150 governments, 500 ministers, and 60 heads of state and government, thus highlighting the immense scope of the dialogue.

In his closing remarks, he expressed his gratitude to the participating governments, the leadership of the national team and the President of the United Arab Emirates, reaffirming the country’s growth trajectory and its commitment to becoming an even more influential force in global governance.
