Africa-Press – Angola. BayQi, Angola’s first authorized e-commerce platform, has been participating since Thursday in the EurAfrican digital forum, in Carcavelos, Portugal, which the company’s executive president, Fátima Almeida, told the press to be an exchange of useful information and experiences for the Angolan market.

At the event, held to find new opportunities in the current context of global geopolitical tension, topics on education, health, science, economy, employment, energy and digital transition are discussed, with participations such as those of the Presidents of Cape Verde and Portugal, José Maria das Neves and Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, as well as representatives from the banking and fintech sector, including Angolan organizations. Fátima Almeida noted that the participation in EurAfrican takes place at a time when the company is preparing to launch its application for transfers and simplified payments.
