Africa-Press – Angola. Two literary works dedicated to early childhood education were presented this Wednesday, within the framework of the II International Congress of Sciences, promoted by the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences (ISCED) of Huíla.
The presentation session was part of the event’s scientific program and brought together teachers, researchers, students, and professionals linked to the preschool subsystem.
The works, entitled “Curriculum of Early Childhood Education Methodology” and “Methodology of Linguistic Communication,” were written by specialists in the field and seek to strengthen national scientific production in the domain of early childhood education.
The presentation was given by the authors Analasia Jaime and Gonçalves Gabriel, both educators and trainers at ISCED-Huíla.
Initially, Professor Analsia Jaime presented the book “Curriculum of Early Childhood Education Methodology,” which brings together theoretical and practical contributions to guide the work of early childhood educators.
The book addresses forms of child learning, professional qualification of educators, inclusive education, organization of pedagogical spaces, and management of the daily routine.It also provides guidance on educational interactions, observation methods, planning and evaluation, as well as presenting pedagogical models suitable for the Angolan context.
The work also covers the curricular areas defined by ENID, proposing the inclusion of the area of personal and social development as a reinforcement of the child’s integral development.
Following this, Professor Gonçalves Gabriel presented the “Methodology of Linguistic Communication,” focused on the fundamentals and practices of language in childcare centers.The manual clarifies the differences between early childhood education and preschool, describes existing assessment methods, and addresses methods for working with linguistic communication.
It also explores key topics in the field, such as auditory discrimination, phonetics, rhythm, intonation, and graphomotor skills, organized into three chapters to support the work of educators.
