The fifth ordinary session, led by its first secretary, Daniel Neto, also analyzed the internal life of the party from various perspectives, supervised through a videoconference by the coordinator of the monitoring group for the province of Lunda-Sul, Manuel Augusto.

The more than 130 participants learned about the literacy campaign plans, militant contributions, the report on the conferences celebrating JMPLA’s 61 years of existence and the essentials defined in the last meeting of the Central Committee, held on the 18th and 19th of December this year.

“It is a normal procedure that marks moments and stages of the political process to strengthen democracy within the MPLA and highlight the strengths that each cadre and leader carries, highlighting the responsibility of continuing to show the world and Angolans that the MPLA is a democratic party and fair, who works for the common good”, he said, addressing words of comfort to all those who left office with a record filled with important achievements.

He urged the new members to engage dynamically in their work, demonstrating commitment, humility and team spirit, to raise the current position of the party, in order to surpass the achievements achieved in 2022.
