Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Embassy in the Kingdom of Morocco is conducting a special data collection campaign from the 3rd to the 5th of the current month for the issuance and renewal of Angolan Identity Cards.
According to a press release from this institution, on Wednesday (04), this action is part of strengthening the extension of public services in the diaspora and is coordinated with the competent authorities in Angola.
According to the document, this action results from a joint effort aimed at facilitating the regularization of documents for national citizens who are outside the national territory and who, for various reasons, do not have the means to travel to Angola to process their ID.
Thus, the initiative is enabling local processing of requests of fresh issue and renewing of Identity Cards, an essential document for carrying out various administrative acts, including the issuance and renewal of ordinary passports and the regularization of immigration status with the Moroccan authorities.
All Angolan citizens residing in Morocco, including minors, will benefit from the aforementioned campaign, which is taking place at the Angolan embassy in Rabat, according to the statement.
The diplomatic mission is ensuring that Angolan citizens residing in Morocco keep their IDs up-to-date and suitable for their intended use.
