Africa-Press – Angola. Endiama expects to achieve, this year, a production of 14.6 million carats of diamonds, which will generate gross revenue of 2.5 billion dollars (one dollar is worth kz 828,348), reported this Wednesday the President of the Board of Directors (PCA) of Endiama, José Ganga Júnior.
“This is our plan for 2024. It is quite challenging, because in 2023 we had a sale of 9.7 million carats”, said the manager, speaking to the press as part of the review of the activities carried out by the company last year.
José Ganga Júnior made it known that Endiama raised, in 2023, more than one billion 511 million dollars, resulting from the sale of 9.7 million carats of diamonds.
According to the official, there are infrastructure conditions and geological reserves to be implemented, however, achieving this goal will require more work in the area of prospecting and exploration.
