Africa-Press – Angola. The State Intelligence and Security (SINSE) and Criminal Investigation (SIC) services have since yesterday reinforced their strategies for preventing, combating and dismantling criminal networks.
To materialize this intention, high-level leaders from SINSE and SIC met at the headquarters of the second institution, in Cacuaco, where they discussed cross-cutting issues of common interest, with a view to strengthening the operative action of the two bodies, above all, in the sharing of crucial information to fight crime.
The head of SINSE, Fernando Miala, stressed the need for the two bodies to continue to walk hand in hand in tasks at all levels, in order to make better use of information sharing.
In the meeting with the director general of SIC, Fernando Miala stressed that “it is inconceivable that there are barriers in the sharing of information between the two bodies, as they are practically twin institutions”.
The director general of SIC, António Paulo Bendje, assured that he will decisively strengthen the scope of cooperation and institutional friendship with SINSE, which leads the two institutions to improve results in the field of Public Security.
