Africa-Press – Angola. Entrepreneur Arão Sembuando, from the Setumba region, in Catabola, Bié, has invested heavily in the agriculture and livestock sector, with an annual production that varies between 40 and 50 tons of vegetables.
Each year, he also harvests 15 tons of corn and 25 tons of citrus fruits, especially tangerines and lemons. To meet the growing demand, he decided to expand his activity to the municipality of Camacupa in 2024, where he gradually began to explore an area of 60 hectares. In 2023, he received financing of 4 million kwanzas, within the scope of the Commercial Agriculture Development Project (PEDAC). The young man is also involved in goat farming, where he has 117 head of goats, including kids and he-goats. Pig farming is also part of his activities.
