Africa-Press – Angola. Entrepreneurs from various fields of activity in the city of Lubango, province of Huíla, are being trained in marketing techniques and expansion of sales of products and services through virtual platforms and applications, within the scope of the “Crescer Digital” project.

The third phase of the project, carried out by the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPM) in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), is aimed at more than forty young mentors of Business.

The director of the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Huíla, Julieta de Oliveira, explained that the project was designed to awaken young people in the province to take advantage of digital platforms. She pointed out that the two previous phases involved 45 entrepreneurs.

Julieta de Oliveira explained that the training aims to provide young entrepreneurs with modern tools and techniques in order to take advantage of the advantages to broaden the horizon on how to do business using digital platforms.

“Crescer Digital’s main objective is to open the minds of young people. We don’t want them to be limited only to physical businesses. Our idea is that they take advantage of virtual tools to expand their business without leaving their place. It is possible to sell outside the province of Huíla without get out of here”, he encouraged.

Julieta de Oliveira said that the project also covers the training of young entrepreneurs, such as handling the bureaucratic process for legalization, organization and administration of businesses and having notions of accounting and financial management and other business skills.

“With this training, the entrepreneur will have the knowledge to carry out correct procedures, develop business and expand. We want micro, small and medium businesses to grow to generate more income for owners and more jobs”, he said, stressing the importance of training in any process evolution, especially in business.

The training, given by trainers trained by national and foreign consultants of the United Nations Development Program, transmits techniques in sales on digital platforms such as WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook, Web and others.
