Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Executive outlines programs that include the involvement of the country’s entire human potential for the relaunch and diversification of the economy, encouragement of private national and international foreign investment to generate employment and make the social state sustainable, reiterated, in Moscow, the Angolan ambassador to the Russian Federation, Augusto Silva Cunha.
The diplomat who spoke this weekend during the celebrations of the 48th anniversary of National Independence, celebrated on Saturday, highlighted that the Republic of Angola maintains cordial diplomatic relations with all States based on the basic principles of International Law.
According to a press release, he highlighted that the country has made its voice heard in various regional, continental and global spaces, defending a world of peace, of mutually advantageous relations between states and a more balanced world order.
Augusto Silva Cunha highlighted that the interest of the Diplomatic Mission in Moscow, within the framework of economic diplomacy, is the continued objective of attracting direct foreign investment, stimulating national exports and encouraging tourism.
He explained that the Russian-Angolan partnership has deep, historical roots and recently completed 47 years since the date the first Friendship and Cooperation Agreement was signed between the two countries.
Kingdom of Morocco
The Angolan ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Baltazar Cristóvão, also on the occasion of November 11th, highlighted that the country has invested in participatory citizenship, in which all citizens are called into its edification, through professional training programs, support production, diversification of exports and substitution of imports.
This battle is arduous, but it will be overcome as the country positions itself on the path of economic and social development, thus fulfilling the desires of all those who gave their lives for the cause of freedom and who honor their memory by occasion of the Celebrations of November 11th, National Independence Day”, he said.
He highlighted that Angola is a country of peace and reconciliation, in full development, open to modernism and engaged in the diversification of its economy and with a democratic system of functioning of its institutions.
Baltazar Cristóvão announced investments in a national sustainable and inclusive development strategy, committed to building a national network of modern infrastructures that accelerate regional integration, as well as creating a favorable business environment and promoting a resilient and robust ecosystem .
Türkiye
In Ankara, the Turkish capital, the Angolan ambassador to Turkey, José Patrício, urged young Angolan students, present at the ceremony that marked the anniversary, to cultivate themselves, make the most of opportunities and contribute to the development of Angola.
At the event, hosted by the Association of Angolan Students in Turkey (AEAT), highlights were moments of culture, tributes and fun, as well as the showing of the institutional video that portrays Angola’s progress in various areas, the recitation of the poem “We will return” , by António Agostinho Neto, in the voice of Daniela Afonso and the song “Muxima”, by Liceu Vieira Dias, sung by Elizabeth Afonso.
