Africa-Press – Angola. The provinces with infrastructure and accommodation conditions will receive the national teams, guaranteed this Monday, in Luanda, the president of the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB), Moniz Silva.
In a press conference, on the upcoming commitments of the Angolan teams, in both sexes, the director referred that the mission of his cast is to end the culture of national sets only doing internships abroad.
“The internships for our selections start on Tuesday, in Benguela, where the men and women will be, in the city of Lobito”, he said to demonstrate the materialization of the FAB idea.
The men’s team will play from the 24th to the 26th of February, in Luanda, in the 5th and last window of qualifying for the World Cup, in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia, at the Kilamba pavilion.
In turn, the Angolan senior women’s team will compete from 20 to 28 February, in Zimbabwe, for a place in the Zonal access to Afrobasket`2023, in September, in Rwanda.
