Africa-Press – Angola. Young people from the Josafat Church donated blood this Saturday to the General Hospital of Moxico (HGM), with a view to strengthening the homotherapy service bank, as part of the social activities carried out by the religious denomination.
According to the pastor of this denomination, Januário Bozo, 20 members of the congregation were mobilized to carry out this charitable initiative.
In turn, the hemotherapy technician at HGM, Natércia da Conceição, praised the initiative, having stated that the Blood Bank is currently empty.
According to the person responsible, an average of 15 transfusions are currently carried out daily in that health unit.
This is the second time that young people assigned to the Josafat church have carried out activities of this kind in that health unit.
