The course lasted six months, three of which focused on specialty training, in theoretical and military practice.

The closing ceremony took place at the Aerodrome Command in the municipality of Cahama (Cunene), under the guidance of the commander of the Southern Air Region, Lieutenant General Samuel Chipalavela, who called for greater commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty of Angolan airspace.

From the cadets, the commander asked for loyalty, firmness, courage, respect and observance of patriotic values.

He said that the process of basic military training for new troops is part of a set of strategies that aim to respond to the challenges of restructuring and modernizing the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
