“The present edition of the Luanda International Fair takes place at a particularly important moment in the performance of our economy, which is recovering from the effects of the sharp reduction in the price of oil on the international market, as well as the effects of the Covid 19 pandemic”, he said, in the presentation. , the Secretary of State for the Economy, Dalva Ringote Allen.

It is, he continued, an event for the promotion and business opportunity and sharing of strategic business visions, with a view to identifying new markets and consolidating companies.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of Eventos Arena, Bruno Albernaz, announced that 600 exhibitors are expected to participate and that 275 have already confirmed their participation.

In this field, official missions from nine countries with 89 companies were brought in, with confirmed registrations from national companies and also from foreign companies from South Africa, Germany, Namibia, Poland, the United Kingdom, South Korea. , China and Portugal.

According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eventos Arena, the 37th edition established a special package for emerging companies in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector, startups, with a 70 percent reduction in the amount payable for participation company of a young entrepreneur with businesses in this field.

Bruno Albernaz highlighted the Startup Smumit 2022, which represents an opportunity for young entrepreneurs who play a relevant role in the process of diversifying the economy, contributing to innovation and human, organizational and technological development.

Another novelty is the presentation of the reformulated “Made in Angola” seal, which is now presented with greater notoriety and is likely to give greater value to the offer of goods and services with high national incorporation, in addition to having safety features.

The fair in question is part of the executive’s actions aimed at fulfilling the functions of the State as a major driver of the process of diversification of the national economy, whose internal and external competitiveness is already imposed in the short term, said the organization.
