Africa-Press – Angola. The First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, will participate today, at the invitation of her Cape Verdean counterpart, Débora de Carvalho, in a high-level panel discussion on the Global Influence and Leadership of First Ladies, on the sidelines of the 6th edition of the Tropics Business Summit.
According to the press release today, the First Ladies present on the panel will interact with a diverse range of women leaders representing a variety of knowledge and ideas, but sharing a common objective: to accelerate the promotion of equality of gender and the empowerment of women in their own communities and across the African continent, with the First Lady of Cape Verde, Débora Katisa de Carvalho, as the driving force.
The speakers will give shape to an informal discussion in which they will share their experience and exchange ideas with the audience on women’s leadership within the framework of Africa’s sustainable development process.
The Tropics Business Summit is an annual pan-African event that aims to bring together entrepreneurs, political and community decision-makers, innovators and companies, providing them with a broad platform for contacts and business, covering all African markets, and for the sixth year in a row will bring together more than 350 speakers, nearly 500 journalists and media professionals, more than 350 startups, investors and 50,000 online participants.
