The permanent training of the personnel of the Personal Security Unit and Protocol Entities (USPEP) is one of the priorities of the central structures of the National Police, in order to increase the skills and abilities to carry out the missions, he said this Friday, in the city de Ondjiva (Cunene), Chief Superintendent Ernesto Jubiloso.
The general inspector of the Provincial Command of the National Police in Cunene defended, therefore, the need for permanent technical, professional and academic training of the USPEP staff, in order to correspond to the expectations of the citizen, regarding the maintenance of order and public safety.
Intervening in the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of USPEP, marked (30 June), the chief superintendent considered fundamental, for the success of the missions, the permanent updating of the forces, in order to guide them by a professional performance, based on the principles of legality , civility, discipline and impartiality.
“We must continue to invest in professionalism, knowledge and the quality of the service provided to the citizen, demonstrating operational capacity, not only using force, but with intelligence and competence”, underlined the official.

On the occasion, the commander of USPEP in Cunene, chief superintendent Fernando Samuzata, recommended the strengthening of protection and security actions, aimed at safeguarding entities and sovereign bodies.
He asked for greater attention in carrying out tasks, reinforcing levels of discipline, readiness and loyalty in carrying out missions.
