Africa-Press – Angola. Angola recorded, in the last 24 hours, four new cases and the recovery of 62 people, on a day when no deaths associated with Covid-19 were reported, according to data from the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP) distributed yesterday to the press.

The DNSP bulletin mentions that the infections were all registered in Luanda. The infected are aged between 4 and 68 years, being one male and three female. With regard to recoveries, 25 were in Luanda, 18 in Zaire, 14 in Cabinda and five in BiƩ.

The Molecular Biology Laboratory processed, in the last 24 hours, 1,459 samples, of which four were positive. Since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, 1,439,861 samples have been processed, of which 98,806 have tested positive.

With these data, the country counts 98,806 positive cases, of which 1,900 resulted in deaths, 96,800 recovered and 106 were active. Of this number, one is in a serious condition, two are moderate, four have mild symptoms and 99 are asymptomatic.

In Covid-19 treatment centers across the country, seven patients are hospitalized. 10 citizens are in institutional quarantine and 99 are in home isolation.
