Africa-Press – Angola. The remains of General Jorge Manuel dos Santos “Sukissa”, Commander of the Angolan Navy, who died on 31 July, a victim of illness, have been resting since this Friday at the Alto das Cruzes Cemetery, in Luanda. .
General Jorge Manuel dos Santos “Sukissa” graduated from the Higher School of Inter Armas in Huambo and also from the Higher School of Battlefield Strategy at the China National Defense Academy.
He also took the Higher Military and State Directorate course at the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Federation, with a degree in Political Science.
In Luanda, he took courses in Leadership, Army Command, Strategy and Operative Art Army Command and Spoken Languages: Portuguese, Spanish, French and Russian.
In his list of military posts, he held the positions of Commander of the Operational Command (COP) of Lunda-Sul e Norte.
He also held the functions of Commander of the 1st Region of the Tropas de Gerais de Fronteira de Angola (TGFA) and of delegate and Commander of the National Police in Huambo.
