Africa-Press – Angola. The governor of Cunene province, Gerdina Didalelwa, demanded this Friday, in Ondjiva, more dynamism and communication from municipal administrators with communities in rural areas.

Gerdina Didalelwa made this demand during the swearing-in ceremony of 15 recently appointed staff, including a municipal administrator and his deputies, director of the provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development of Cunene, as well as heads of departments.

He highlighted that new managers require greater attention to programs aimed at meeting the needs of populations living in the interior of the province.

Gerdina Didalelwa also said that the objective is to create a healthy environment for the inhabitants, putting together basic social services of sustainability, embodied in the improvement of conditions in the areas of basic sanitation, health, education, energy and water, as well as other indispensable goods. for life in communities.

At the end of the ceremony, the Municipal Administrator of Cahama, Orlando Alberto Kamati, referred that he will carry out a proximity governance with the communities, with a view to solving the problems of that region.

The director of the provincial office for the integrated economic development of Cunene, Felisberto Carlos Hisimongula, promised to give continuity to the projects that the institution has in its portfolio.

Meanwhile, the new Deputy Municipal Administrator of Namacunde for the Economic and Financial Area, Luísa Ambrósio Miguel, underlined that she will be focused on a transparent management of the General State Budget.

Cunene province has six municipalities and 20 communes, with approximately 1,017. 647 inhabitants.
