Africa-Press – Angola. The Governor of Cunene, Gerdina Dididalelwa, encouraged voters today in Ondjiva to go to the polls in the early hours of the day to exercise their right to citizenship with civility.
Gerdina Didalelwa was speaking to the press, after exercising her right to vote at assembly 1,282, at table five, at Okapalele Elementary School, asking citizens to come to the polling places earlier, to avoid flooding at the end of the day.
“They must respectfully flock to the polling stations, after exercising they must return to their homes and await the results”, he advised.
The Governor recalled that the elections are a celebration of democracy, which is why Angolans are consciously called to participate in the election of the President of the Republic, the vice-president and the 220 deputies for the National Assembly.
Gerdina Dididalelwa highlighted the level of organization, posture and serenity of citizens in polling stations, ensuring that this behavior will allow the process to end in an orderly manner.
