Rehearsals are taking place in several locations in Luanda: Bethel Methodist Church, IEBA (Petrangol and Golf), IEA (New Jerusalem and Jesse Parish), at UEBA da Sapú and other places to be announced. The choristers are being guided by Guy Destino, Mzuzi, Tekassala, Manuel and Álvaro the main masters and arrangers in Luanda. In the provinces, conditions are being prepared. The musician hopes to gather more than a thousand voices in Luanda and in the other provinces he has more than 500, as he has never held an event of this magnitude like in Cabinda, where in the past he gathered close to 2000 voices.

Guy Destino said that one of the main motivations of the event “is a festival that God has placed in my heart which is to go to the ends of the earth to preach the gospel to every creature and I preach it through music. As our country approaches the elections, there is a need for a peaceful socio-cultural environment and this is the role of the church to pacify hearts and naturally for national unity”.

The musician and producer of the show emphasizes that “I want to exercise the excellence of brotherly love and there is a need each time we live together how good and smooth the brothers live in union and gospel music for me is the best way to converge interests of different peoples and religious denominations”.

Guy Destino was concerned about the proliferation of churches that are divided but not all converge for a good cause and then it is reason for the creation of another denomination. For this reason, he finds and finds in gospel music the best means of converging the interests of different peoples and even religious denominations. “Naturally, this will boost a spirit of national unity that is all that is wanted now that the people continue to hope for tomorrow but being united in Christ Jesus for this I accepted and came in my spirit to create another National Gospel Festival”.

Guy Destino has a history of holding voice-over concerts, particularly around Christmas time. It all started in Portugal where he did his musical training when he created the first gospel choir with 100 voices, 30% of which are members of the African community, in Lisbon. He held concerts at Centro Cultural de Belém, Aula Magna, Porto, Braga, Guimarães and other venues. Later in Luanda, at Karl Marx, Atlântico, Cidadela and producing end-of-year specials for television stations. He has also taken projects of the kind to Cabinda, Huambo, Uíge and Huíla. Destino Deves was born in Mbanza Congo, in Cuimba, on September 4, 1974 and is one of the main references of national gospel music. of you”, “Merry Christmas”, “Intimacy with God” and ”
