Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, defended, this Monday, in Dakar, Senegal, a vigorous reaction against acts of terrorism and unconstitutional changes in Africa, based on a policy of zero tolerance towards institutions and figures resulting from coups State.
Speaking at the 8th edition of the Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa, the Angolan statesman mentioned that terrorism and unconstitutional changes in Africa have not always found a vigorous response to discourage the continuation of such practices that, as you underlined, they seriously violate the Charter of the African Union, the Constitution and the basic principles of democracy in the countries concerned.
“This practice does not constitute a solution to any internal problem that prevails in each of our countries, and should, therefore, deserve a vigorous reaction from all, based on a policy of zero tolerance towards institutions and figures emerging from coups d’état”, he stressed. John Lawrence.
