Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, João Lourenço, met this Wednesday the National Security Council, a consultation body for matters relating to the conduct of National Security policy and strategy.
The members of this body are the Vice-President of the Republic, the presidents of the National Assembly, the Constitutional and Supreme Courts and the Attorney General of the Republic.The ministers of State and ministers appointed by the President of the Republic are also part of the council, in addition to other entities determined by the Holder of Executive Power.
On the 19th of September, the consultation body of the President of the Republic had held a first session.
