Africa-Press – Angola. Three technicians from the Human Resources offices of the municipal administrations of Chitato and Lucapa, northern Lunda Norte province, were arrested on Friday for allegedly inserting ghost workers into the Integrated Financial Management System (SIGFI).
During the presentation of the presumed perpetrators of the crime, the delegate of the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE), Avelino Cangeho, said that the technicians entered false names of civil servants, having caused up to now, a loss of four million Kwanzas to the State.
He reported that their detention, accused of committing cybercrime, for invading the SIGFI, resulted from public denunciations.
He stressed that the individuals were handed over to the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) and will later be presented to the Public Prosecution Service, for subsequent steps.
