To snatch the most coveted prize at the FIB 2023, Sanlam, which dethroned the Carrinho Group, winner of the last edition, bet on two conferences under the theme: “Means of transport and fundamental infrastructure in the flow of production, transformation, logistics , internal consumption, export and the movement of people.”
The conferences, in collaboration with the main public and private players, aim to promote and facilitate the interaction of businessmen, with the sectors of agriculture, infrastructure, industry and the Lobito Corridor, the main theme of this event, as investment areas.
At the FIB exhibitors awards gala, honored by the provincial governor of Benguela, Luís Manuel da Fonseca Nunes, accompanied by their counterparts from Huíla and Bié, respectively, Nuno Mahapi Dala and Pereira Alfredo, Grupo Carrinho won the prize for best participation in the Food and Beverage Industry category.
At the ceremony, which precedes the closing of the event, this Saturday, the company Omatapalo, in the field of transformation industry and public works, was also awarded, while Standard Bank Angola was distinguished as the best in banking.

The FIB jury also awarded prizes to the Adérito Areias Group in the category of best participation in the agriculture and fisheries sector, to Unitel, best representation in information and communication technologies, as well as to Sistec, as best in electronics, security and energy .
This award ceremony for the 12th edition of the Benguela International Fair, which took place at the National Museum of Archaeology, in the city of Benguela, also distinguished Grupo Carrinho, Sanlam Angola Seguros, Unitel and the Provincial Government with honorable mentions. from Benguela.

He informed that, on the last day of the FIB, INAPEM will present two platforms to elucidate entrepreneurs, as well as those who want to start their businesses.
“The first platform is related to formalities for the entrepreneur to have access to financing. There, they will be shown the tools to achieve this goal”, he said.
The second has to do with the certification of companies, a new digitized model, with a simplified process, so that they can have access to the document that enables them to operate within the current regulations.
Some entrepreneurs of micro and small companies have difficulties in presenting their business projects to obtain financing, being forced to redo the documentation.
On this aspect, he informed that INAPEM has a network of service administrators in various specialties, such as in the legal, projects and accounting areas, which can help to overcome this problem.
“It is a channel that entrepreneurs can access so that these professionals can satisfy their needs”, he stressed.
Asked about the institution’s scope of action at provincial level, he said it is represented in the ten municipalities.
For example, he said that, on one of these days, his team went to Catumbela’s administrator, Cátia Teixeira, for courtesy greetings and ended up identifying a need in the municipality that is related to the training of young people, within the scope of fight against poverty, and managed to align the initiative in ways to solve this problem.
