Africa-Press – Angola. Twenty-seven technicians from the National Coffee Institute (INCA) are participating since Monday, in the municipality of Amboim, Cuanza Sul province, in a training session on coffee production practices.

Lasting five days, the seminar, which takes place at the Amboim Regional Station, is attended by twenty middle and seven senior technicians from the provinces of Cuanza Sul, Cuanza Norte, Uíge, Malanje and Benguela, recently recruited.

During the seminar, participants will improve their knowledge about the Civil Service Basic Law, seedling production, seed preparation and nurseries, coffee planting and harvesting, among others.

Speaking at the opening of the training session, INCA’s general director, Vasco Gonçalves António, said that the seminar aims to train new technicians, in order to improve assistance to coffee producers in the country.

He informed that technicians assigned to the Cuanza Sul Agrarian Development Institute also participate in the training, within the framework of an institutional partnership.

The seminar is being monitored by experts from different fields of knowledge, with emphasis on the agriculture sector.
