Africa-Press – Angola. The Spanish company Indra says that it was selected to develop and implement the technological and logistical solutions for the general elections of next August for having responded to all the requirements of the public tender promoted by the National Electoral Commission (CNE), open to the submission of proposals from other companies.

In a statement sent to Jornal de Angola, in order, albeit indirectly, to react to some suspicions around its choice, some of which were allegedly for falsifying electoral results, Indra clarifies that its technological solution includes provisional counting and final count of all votes cast in the general election. It is a solution that “guarantees compliance with the transparency and security requirements required by law, which implies the redundancy of computing, transmission, processing and dissemination of results, among many other services.”

Indra adds that assumes the acquisition, transport and delivery of all material necessary for the holding of the general elections.
In another note sent exclusively to Jornal de Angola, Indra says that it does not review any of the accusations against it, “since it has never been sued in any of the countries where it has worked in electoral processes. was sentenced.”

Indra emphasizes the fact that it continues to organize elections in its country of origin. “Just this weekend, for example, it was responsible for the regional elections in Castile and Leon”, he stresses.
