Africa-Press – Angola. The Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS) recently launched the Program for the Modernization and Expansion of Vocational Training Centers across the country, with a view to responding to the great demand for these centers in recent years.
The information, provided this Tuesday, in Luanda, by the director general of the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP), Manuel Mbangui, stresses that at the moment training centers in Mbanza Congo are being requalified and equipped, Zaire, Integrated Employment and Professional Training of Cacolo, Lunda Sul.
In this project, continued the official, the Arts and Crafts Pavilion in Sambizanga, the Integrated Technological Training Centres, in Talatona and Rangel, as well as the Women’s Training Centre, in this urban district of Luanda, were also upgraded.
This range includes centers in the provinces of Cuanza Norte, the Integrated Center for Employment and Professional Training in Ndalatando, he added, as well as the Integrated Center for Professional Training in Kuito (in January 2023), and the Employment Center in Dande. , in Caxito, Bengo.
“Currently, the Cidadela Jovens de Sucesso de Kalakala in Bié province is undergoing rehabilitation, the Professional Training Center of Moçâmedes is being finished and CINFOTEC-Huambo is nearing completion, within the scope of the bilateral cooperation program Angola-China “, he said.
The director made it known that there is a project of tripartite cooperation between Angola, Japan and Brazil for trainers of these centres.
“From this cooperation, around 11 trainers have already successfully completed the second group of trainers certified by SENAI-São Paulo, in Brazil”, he said.
