Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan consumer price index registered a year-on-year change of 16.68% in October, maintaining the downward trend seen since January 2022 and reaching the lowest value since December 2019.

According to the quick information sheet released this Monday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) of Angola, this variation represents a decrease of 10.19 percentage points in relation to that observed in the same month of the previous year.

Comparing the current year-on-year change with the one registered in the previous month, there is a deceleration of 1.48 percentage points, according to the document.

In monthly terms, the National Consumer Price Index (IPCN) recorded a variation of 0.78% between September and October 2022.

Comparing the monthly changes (September to October 2022) there is a deceleration of 0.01 percentage points, while, in year-on-year terms (October 2021 to October 2022), there was a deceleration of 1.28 percentage points.
