Economist calls for stronger supervision

In view of the continuous inflation of prices in the market, economist Isidoro Cassemene called for the need for institutions responsible for maintaining price balance and protecting consumer rights (ANIESA and INADE), to redouble supervision, with the aim of guaranteeing the good be with families.

“Unfortunately, these institutions are reactive, but they must be proactive, maintain permanent supervision to avoid constant price rises”, he maintained.

Despite this, he called on consumers to adopt a culture of reporting, in order to avoid being taken advantage of by traders.
